Under State Protection
Russian Avantgarde Foundation continues to actively promote the cultural heritage preservation. The Foundation specialists study works of architecture in order to identify most valuable properties that for some reasons are not yet protected by the State. The Foundation undertakes historical and architectural surveys and studies of such buildings and makes relevant applications to the Moscow City Committee for Protecting Cultural Heritage. The applications are reviewed by a special expert commission and on the results of that review decisions are made by secret ballot on whether such structures deserve the state-protected status.
